Helen started as a weekend Alligator after graduating from university, and soon became a manager at the shop. She loves children's literature for all ages, but has a particular soft spot for Junior Fantasy and Young Adult Fiction. Helen now lives in Bristol, but continues to be part of the team as The Alligator's Mouth Award Coordinator, working closely with The Bright Agency team too. Helen visits the shop whenever she can, but even from afar, she has been crowned the queen of Alligator coordinating, with her guides (including tea and biscuit instructions) that keep us all in place here at the shop. In her spare time, she likes to do anything creative, and her current obsession is creating embroidery projects inspired by books, theatre shows, and music - especially Taylor Swift songs!
