Helene is our expert on all-things-fantasy and also loves macabre novels, especially in our Teen and YA section. Helene worked in a primary school before her bookselling days, so she is brilliant at working with children and loves to help them discover a love for reading. She has lots of fond memories of reading classic picture books to her own children, and will take any opportunity to recommend them to families in the shop. Helene loves cats, and is a very keen gardener who can often be found curating her allotment. She will take any spare moment to read - especially at home with her stacks and stacks of books!
