Mia joined the team with a Saturday job and quickly discovered a passion for helping children find books they love. She now works as a part-time bookseller at the shop whilst studying English at King's College London, and also manages our social media accounts. Mia loves reading eloquent books and poetry, with a particular interest in Victorian literature and other historical fiction. Having been an avid reader from a young age, she is fond of many childhood favourites, and loves to discover beautifully illustrated children's books. Mia enjoys baking cakes for the Alligator team, and she loves it when dogs - especially labradors - visit the shop! You will always hear Taylor Swift albums playing in the shop when Mia is working.
